Grandby Ranch is the closest ski resort to R&R Ranch in the town of Grandby.  It is far less crowded and expensive than the more popular ski resorts, making it a perfect place for beginner skiers to learn.

Beautiful ski resort known for its family-friendly atmosphere and "champagne powder" snow. About 1 hour North of R&R Ranch.

This resort consists of five peaks with all different terrain levels.  It has a lively town at the base.  It is known for being crowded and expensive.  It takes Epic Passes.  An hour and 10 minutes South of R&R Ranch.

Vail is a highly regarded ski resort.  If you are done with skiing, you should definitely sit at the base of the Pepi's Face Skiing Trail with a beer and watch inexperienced skiers faceplant down the icy black diamond ski run.  It takes Epic Passes.  An hour and 15 minutes South of R&R Ranch.
